Steven E. Harris

Steven E. Harris, 68, passed away April 1, 2013. Steve was a graduate of Pike High School and attended Indiana University. He spent the majority of his life working in the automotive and trucking industry and living in Zionsville, Indiana. In 2007 he started spending winters in Arizona. He was a founding member and former president of Transcorr Trucking LLC. He was also a member and past chairman of the Indiana Motor Truck Association. He had a true passion for cars with a special place in his heart for Corvettes. Steve was an avid golfer, sports and race fan. He also volunteered and served on the board for The Boys and Girls club of Zionsville. He was the son of Lottie and Ewart Harris (both deceased). Steve had a daughter, Lisa, with his first wife Donna. He had 4 children with his second wife Betty; Mandi, Rebecca, Matthew (deceased) and Michael (deceased). He had 4 grandchildren who he bragged about and loved dearly since the day he met them; Olivia, Benjamin, Ashley and Xavier. Services will be held April 20th 2013 at 2:30 PM at The Boys and Girls club of Zionsville to celebrate his life. The family has requested that donations can be made to one of the following organizations; Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, Gilbert, Arizona; The Boys and Girls club of Zionsville, Zionsville, Indiana. You will be greatly missed by all your friends and family Pa! We love you!
