Patricia Michelle Flynn

Patricia (Patty) Michelle Flynn of Mesa AZ, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and step mother, passed away on November 10, 2013 in Gilbert, she was 48 years old. Patty was born on June 29, 1965 in Evergreen Park, Illinois to James and Julie Flynn. After graduating from Oak Lawn High School in Oak Lawn Illinois in 1983 Patty joined the rest of the family in Mesa, AZ. While she lived in Arizona, Patty"s heart never left Chicago where the Bears and many friends remained. Many Sundays were spent ardently cheering for her team as her friends and neighbors can attest. Most recently Patty worked as the food service manager for Chartwells at Gateway Community College. Prior to that she held a similar position at Scottsdale Christian Academy where she adored the children she served. Patty"s friendly and outgoing nature made her perfect for the management jobs she held with Fashion Gal and K-Mart as well. Patty spent her final days at Lotus House in Gilbert with hospice care under the wonderful caring touch of Fil, Jackie, Annie, Lorie, Jennie, and Stella and the entire family can"t thank them enough for the care and comfort they provided. Patricia is survived by her parents James and Julie Flynn of Gilbert, AZ a stepson Tyler LeFevre of Salt Lake City, Utah, 2 sisters Kathy (Rick) Wilson of Mesa, Carrie Flynn of Peoria Illinois, 2 brothers David (Stacey) Flynn of Mesa, and Eric (Christine) Flynn of Georgia. Aunt Patty will also be missed by many nieces and nephews on whom she loved to dote, this includes: Cory, Jimmy, Shane, Shea, Brenna, Cassie, Ryan, Kira, Haydan, and Nadyah. She also leaves numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins who will also miss her greatly. Patricia"s life will be celebrated on Saturday November23, 2013 at10:00 AM at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W Juniper Ave, Gilbert, AZ 85233.
