Lynn Christine Kiser passed away peacefully at the age of 50 on December 23, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, John Kiser, and their only son, Cody Kiser, who is 11. Lynn also leaves behind her father, Erskine Lawless, as well as her older brother Drew Lawless and younger sister Vickie Sabitsana. Lynn was born in Greenfield, Indiana and attended Warren Central high school, graduating with the class of 1990. Lynn later attended Indiana University, where she acquired a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs. Lynn was a wonderful wife and miracle mother, having survived an extended hospital stay in 2010. She astonished doctors by pulling through multiple times as they initially had little hope for her full recovery. The hospitals were so impressed with Lynn that they wanted to do a local news story about her experience. However, Lynn declined, saying she really could not recall much or offer any additional insight. Following Lynn’s hospital stay, she was married in October then later gave birth to her son Cody the following year. Lynn and Cody spent the next decade enjoying many activities together including going to parks, seeing the latest movie releases, and feeding ducks. Their favorite park is called Freestone Park in Gilbert, Arizona, in which they loved riding the small-scaled train around. However, they were not fans of helping to fix the train when it often derailed! Lynn enjoyed being by the water and would visit beach locations in North Carolina close to her parents, in Florida by her brother, and in California with her sister. Finally, Lynn had a passion for painting on canvas. As she painted, Cody would spend countless hours sitting next to her admiring her talents. Many of her pieces are now hanging on walls in the homes of family and friends.
