May 26th, 1956 - January 11th, 2024
Susan Marie Blackie, 67, went to be with Jesus on January 11, 2024, with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Blackie, her children; Stephanie (Irish), Michael, her mother; Matilda Acedo, siblings; Rosanne, Samuel, 11 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her father; Samuel Acedo. Susan dedicated her life to being a Wife, Mother and Grandma. She devoted much of her time to loving, caring and praying for her family. Her many talents included sewing, cooking and playing the piano. She loved serving others and making everyone around her feel special. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 10am at Sun Valley Community Church; 456 East Ray Rd, Gilbert AZ 85296.
