James Clyde Stone, 73, of Mesa, Arizona passed away March 14, 2023. He was born on November 7, 1949 in Bethesda, Maryland to Virgil and Mildred (Davis) Stone. Growing up in Maryland, he enjoyed surfing, being in the Boy Scouts, traveling with his family. At the age of 19, Jim moved to be with his family to Tucson, Arizona. There he attended the University of Arizona before moving to San Diego where he achieved his degree in history at California State University San Bernardino. He moved back to Arizona in 1979 and met his wife Elizabeth in 2005. They were married in 2009 and resided in Mesa, Arizona until the time of his passing. James is survived by Elizabeth Stone Linda & William Valentien James Jr. & Michelle Stone Jessica Rogers Steven Rogers Kristen & David Payne Chad Rogers Tyler & Kathryn Rogers And 8 grandchildren He was preceded in death by: Parents Virgil and Mildred Stone and his Son Andrew Davis Stone.
