Charles Leonard Dugan

In Memoriam Charles L. Dugan, Sr. Jan. 1, 1935 to Dec. 12, 2017 Charles Leonard ("Chuck") Dugan was born as a "New Year's Baby" on January 1, 1935 to Earl and Mary Dugan in the small Pennsylvania town of Nanty Glo. With his wife of 62 years, the former Sandra Stedman, they raised five children, Charles Jr., Lavon, Shane, Thomas, and Carla with 14 Grandchildren and 23 great Grandchildren. Chuck enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1952. He served in both the Korean and Vietnam military conflicts before retiring in Tucson as a Master Sergeant in 1972 after 20 years of service. With his administrative and electrical systems skills, he then worked another 20 years with Duval mines as an electrical shop foreman. Chuck was a long time member and deacon in the local Baptist church. He and wife Sandy enjoyed traveling, camping, following the University of Arizona sports teams, and the Arizona Diamondbacks. He enjoyed taking part in many different physical activities including, fishing, hunting, golfing, and bowling until failing health became an insurmountable obstacle. Services will be on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 10am at the Bring's Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the United Service Organizations at www.uso.org.
