Anthony Daniel Hutton died July 8, 2015 at the age of 31. Anthony was preceded in death by his cousin Mitchell Barrigar. He is survived by his wife of six years, Rebecca; his parents Henry and Pat Hutton; his sister Danielle; his paternal grandparents, Henry and Margaret Hutton; his "nana" and "papa," Jon and Cindy Griebel; his cousins, Mayloni Warfield and Kyana Hutton, Samantha and Nick Griebel and Mason Barrigar; his aunts Michelle Hutton, Lisa Hutton, and Melissa Griebel; his uncles, Jonathan and Timothy Hutton, and David Griebel. Anthony was born February 7, 1984 at University Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. He was a precocious and exceptionally bright child who would talk your ear off. As an adult, Anthony was as charming as he was irritating. He knew how to win an argument even when he was wrong. In school, Anthony was a quick study who could master any subject he put his mind to. He went on to earn two associate degrees and was pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Health Information Management. Anthony's love of animals was evident by his devotion to Lexi and how much he spoiled his two dogs Izzy and Pippen. But most important to Anthony was his family. He was fiercely loyal and devoted to his family. September 13, 2009 Anthony was blessed beyond measure by marrying the love of his life Rebecca. He adored his wife and was very aware of the good she brought to his life. He knew she understood him, loved him unconditionally despite his failings and supported every facet of his life. Anthony followed Bible principles and deferred to his wife at every opportunity, even tucking her in at night. Anthony was extremely proud of his father with whom he had developed a special, and loving relationship. He was never happier than when he was debating current events with his dad. His respect for his father was immense. Danielle had her brother wrapped around her little finger and he knew it. Anthony would do anything for his sister and was so very proud of her for buying a house. There was no errand and no favor he would not do for his sister. Grandma's house was the one constant in Anthony's life growing up. He was happiest when he was in the kitchen with Grandma cooking and eating, especially her macaroni and cheese. Growing up, and as an adult, Anthony loved and deeply respected his Grandfather. He knew he could always count on Grandpa's love and support. Anthony intensely loved his Nana and Papa as well. Always promising his Nana that he would take care of her in her old age. He never failed to laugh at or appreciate his Papa's humor. Anthony so loved his job. His coworkers at HOPE meant the world to him. He dug into his job and put every ounce of time and effort into doing the best job he could. He loved the job, the support and the mission of HOPE. The love and support from his coworkers were instrumental in the personal growth Anthony experienced over the last year. To be surrounded by people that understood addiction and could see the tremendous potential in him was an invaluable part of his recovery. The bond of love between Anthony and his mother is not one that can be broken by death or described in a few sentences. As you all reflect on Anthony, please remember him for the husband, son, brother, grandson and coworker that he was; remember the heart of gold he possessed and not the disease that he so desperately did not want to have and that ultimately took his life. As his family, we long for the time that John 5:28 will be fulfilled "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…" But until then Anthony, our hearts are broken and our sadness unbearable. We love you. Services to be held Monday July 13, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at Brings Funeral Home 6910 E.
