Clayton Duane Fillis passed away at his home on March 11th, 2020. He was 59. Clay was born September 5th, 1960 in Silverton Oregon to Duane and Gloria Fillis. He spent his childhood in Molalla Oregon. He graduated from Molalla High School in 1978. In May 1981 he married Sherrie Lynnette Gardner. They had two children, Kayla and Ryan. Clay graduated Eastern Oregon University in 2003 with a bachelors in Business Administration summa cum laude. Clay retired from the Army after 20 years of service in the United States Army and Army Reserves at the rank of Master Sergeant. He was preceded in death by his mother Gloria Nelsine Lenore Fillis and his brother Michael Lee Fillis. Clay is survived by his wife Sherrie, his father Earl Duane Fillis, his children Kayla Spicer and Ryan Fillis, their spouses Andy Spicer and Megan McGuire and his grandchildren, Walter and Amelia Spicer.
