Avelina Martinez Ruiz, 68, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on June 10, 2017 in Salinas. She was born on July 31, 1948 in Mexico. She enjoyed being a homemaker most of her adult life. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 1-9pm with a Rosary vigil at 7pm all at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd Salinas, CA 93905. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, June 15, 2017 10am at St. Mary of the Nativity Church 424 Towt St. Salinas, CA 93905. Burial to follow services at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery 18200 Damian Way Salinas, CA 93907.
