Richard S. Amaya, 45, of Salinas passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2007, at Natividad Medical Center. Richard was born in Salinas on October 22, 1961 and was a native of Ontario, Or. He was a auto mechanic. Richard was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend to everyone he knew. He was willing to help anyone in their time of need. He always took care of the neighborhood by making sure everyone knew him. Richard will always be loved, missed, and never forgotten. Survivors: Wife, Judy Avita Amaya of the Family Home, daughters; Amelia and Carmen Amaya both of Salinas; sons, Richard Amaya Jr. of Salinas; Ruben and Lorenzo Amaya both of Salinas; mother, Amelia Serrano of Texas; father, Albert Amaya of Texas; brothers, Albert Amaya Jr of Texas; Oscar Pena of Idaho; sisters, Anna Hernandez of Idaho; Amelia Pena of Texas; grand children, Katherine and Ezekial Amaya. Visitation: 5 to 9 p.m. Sept 20, at Healey Mortuary Chapel in Salinas, Ca. 405 N. Sanborn Road; Salinas. Memorials: Contribution to help with Funeral and Burial expenses can be made to Washington Mutual Bank, Account #4413123136, Salinas.
