Obituary Stanley Folsom passed away December 4 in Greeley. He was born March 26, 1950 to James and Elsie Folsom in Kansas. After high school, Stan proudly served as a United States Marine in the Vietnam War from 1967-1971. Following his honorable military service, he completed his schooling with an Associate's degree in Business in Kansas City, Kansas. He later lived in Casper and Rawlins, Wyoming where he was a Driller on an oil rig for 20 years and a truck driver throughout his career. Stan married Celeste Garner November 16, 2005 in Fort Collins and the two shared their lives together for over 12 years. He enjoyed playing poker, watching western and action movies and he loved animals. Stan was also a faithful born again Christian. Stan was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Stan is survived by his wife Celeste Garner of Greeley; parents, James and Elsie Folsom and Ali Reed, who he considered as granddaughter, and his friends. He was preceded in death by his entire family. Private services will be held at a later date.
