Mary Landeros Benitez, 86, longtime resident of Salinas, passed away on December 11, 2012 in Salinas. She was born on April 2, 1926 in Brawley, California. Mary previously worked in the Ag industry as a produce worker for over 40 years. She was a member of Fresh Fruits and Vegatables Union Local #78. Mary is survived by her daughters, Mary Zurita of Gonzales Kathleen Ballesteros of Salinas Teresa Gonzalez of Salinas and Cynthia Benitez of Salinas son, Ruben Benitez of San Jose She is preceded in death by her husband, Epimenio R. Benitez in January, 2003. At her request, no services will be held. An Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Salinas.
