DARLENE LYNN HUMM SEATON, 58 years old, peacefully departed this world on Saturday, September 5, 2020, in her home in Pine Grove, after three years of battling colon cancer. Darlene was born on September 26, 1961, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the proud parents of Herbert and Marilyn (Nelson) Humm. Darlene graduated from North Royalton High School, Class of 1979. Following graduation, she moved to California in 1982 to pursue a career and follow her dreams. She began working in Sacramento, then moved to Amador County in 1991 and ultimately retired as a Legal Assistant for a law firm in Jackson. On June 15, 2012, Darlene married Jeffrey Seaton in Carson City, Nevada. Darlene loved life. Her laugh was infectious. When she laughed one could not help but get a smile on one’s face then join in. Darlene’s favorite hobbies were gardening and going on vacation. She loved to travel and fell in love with the Caribbean Islands. Her favorite vacation islands were Saint Marrten, Aruba and The Cayman Islands. In addition to her parents, Darlene was predeceased by her infant daughter Dalina Littlefield. She is survived by her husband Jeff Seaton, daughter Danae Littlefield, twin sons Dustin and Dylan Littlefield; step-sons Jeff Seaton II, his wife Laura Seaton, and Jason Seaton. Darlene is also survived by her sisters, nieces and nephews. Her sisters are Deborah Humm Goble, Dianne Humm Laszcz, Donna Humm Lively, Danelle Humm Jindra and Danette Humm Novak. Her surviving nieces and nephews are: Jennifer Anderson and family, Kristi Laszcz, Amy Laszcz, David Laszcz, Troy Laszcz; Candace Koenig, Jacob Koenig; Tyler Jindra, Kaitlin Dryer and family, Connor Jindra and Ella Jindra. A Memorial Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m., September 26, 2020, at Daneri’s Mortuary in Jackson. A celebration of her life will follow at a location to be determined. Those who wish to remember Darlene in a special way may make gifts in her memory to HOSPICE of Amador and Calaveras Counties.
