Nora Madelyn Piggott

Nora Madelyn Piggott passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at the age of 94. Nora was well known for her sparkling personality, smile, and willingness to make people laugh. She was often involved with her great-grandchildren, who knew her as GG, and even played with them into her 90’s. She retired as a nursing assistant from the North Little Rock Veterans Hospital in 1994 and was very proud of her service as a chaplain for the VFW and volunteer work for the VA hospital in Albuquerque NM after her retirement. As a natural caregiver who gave much, she will be greatly missed. Nora is survived by her daughters, Rebecca (Martin) Garner of N. Fort Myers, FL and Donna (Larry) Eul of Pioneer, CA; brother, Bill Montgomery of Conway, AK; sister, Joanne (Jack) Morgan of Eustace, TX; five grandchildren, Danny (Monteal) Purcella of Lilburn, GA, Wendy (Jason) Roth of Supulpa, OK, Jennifer Garner of Atlanta, GA, Michael (Mimi) Eul of San Francisco, CA, and Karen (Phil) Eul of San Jose, CA; ten great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Nora was preceded in death by her daughter, Sue McClelen of Albuquerque, NM; brothers, Russel, Pete, and Paul Montgomery; and two grandchildren, Jeffery Lynn Purcella and Paul Allan Garner. The burial will take place at a later date at Kennesaw Memorial Cemetery in Marietta, GA.
