Vernon Lee Jones, of Volcano, CA, passed away at the age of 85 on Friday, April 13, 2018. He was born in Picher, OK on February 17, 1933 to the late Roy Lee and Lena May (Clark) Jones, and was the devoted husband of Sharon Jones. Vern was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and football. He was a great father and grandfather, and will be missed by his family and friends dearly. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 1:00 P.M. at the Armory Hall in Volcano, CA. Contributions in his name may be made to A-PAL at P.O. Box 190, Jackson, CA 95642.
