Shirley Streck passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 at her daughter's home in Fair Oaks, CA surrounded by her family; at the age of 83 years. She was born September 7, 1927 to August and Mabel (Johnson) Anderson in Chicago, IL. Shirley married Gustav Streck on December 21, 1948 in Chicago. She made her home in Amador County for 28 years and was a volunteer at the Amador Senior Center. She is survived by her children, Daniel Streck of VA, Jeff Streck of South Lake Tahoe, CA, Julie Albanese of Fair Oaks; sister, Lenore Bergmann of Jackson; grandchildren, Adam Albanese and Jennie Albanese. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Gustav Daniel Streck on July 9, 2000. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service Thursday, May 12 at 1:00 P.M. at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson. Inurnment will be private.
