Peter C. Gerard, 81, of Ocala, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2019. Peter was born in Manhattan, NY and moved to Ocala in 1994 from Ozone Park / Woodhaven, NY. He was an accountant for ITT Corporation for 37 years prior to his retirement in 1992. Peter was a Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus, a Faithful Navigator in the 4th degree of the Knights. He served 9 years in the Army National Guard. Peter was predeceased in 2016 by his wife of 57 years, Louise Gerard. He is survived by his children; Loretta (Joe) Baer of Maybrook, NY, Peter J. (Phyllis) Gerard of Massapequa Park, NY, Gregory Gerard (and Nushka Marinova) of Amherst, NY, and Steven Gerard of Middletown, NY, and 5 grandchildren; AnnMarie, Joseph, Danielle, Emma, and Diana. He also had many extended family members in Florida and New York. No local services will be held in Florida. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at the James Romanelli-Stephen Funeral Home in Ozone Park, NY, (718) 845-5151.
