Centerville, GA- Larry G. Douglas passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry, GA. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, February 1, 2013, at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be at Glen Haven Memorial Park. Rev. Darron Moncus will officiate the services. Mr. Douglas was born May 23, 1950 to Gordon and Lessie Douglas in Swainsboro, GA. Mr. Douglas retired as a law enforcement officer after 43 years of service. Mr. Douglas was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Douglas, Jr. Survivors include: Daughters, Carol Bren of Kathleen, Sandi Mueller of Macon; mother, Lessie Sapp; Siblings, Shirley (Walton) Powell of Macon, Jimmy (Anne Marie) Douglas of CA; and five grandchildren. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
