Warner Robins, Ga.-Mary Jones Carter died on Tuesday April 19, 2016 after complications to surgery. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 21, 2016 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A Private Graveside Service for family only will be held in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Reverend Ken Morgan will officiate. Mrs. Carter was born June 3, 1935 in Sylacauga, Alabama. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was retired from Robins Air Force Base. Her parents, Cecil and Ruth Jones preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, William H. Carter Sr.; son, William H. (Sue Ellen) Carter Jr. ; grandson, Jeremy Carter; great granddaughter, Charisa Carter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to First United Methodist Church TV Fund, 205 North Davis Dr. Warner Robins Ga. 31093 or Museum of Aviation at Robins Air Force Base, 1942 Heritage Blvd, Robins AFB, GA. 31098 will be appreciated.
