LUCY LEYBA RICHARD, born August 6, 1925, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2020. She is preceded in death by her late husband, sons Benjamin and Alfred Tafoya Jr, Daughter Mary Viola Crespin, parents Natividad and Tomasita Leyba, sister Predicanda Leyba, brothers Hilario Leyba and Ralph Leyba. She is survived by her daughter Alviria Gonzales, and her sister Rose Leyba. 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 27 great-great grandchildren, and 2 great-great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by many friends and relatives. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church 511 Alicia St. Santa Fe, NM on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 10:00 am. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, face coverings must be worn at all times in the church and occupancy is limited per the health orders.
