Warner Robins: Edward Weller Ness, 85, passed away on Sunday October 24, 2010. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Monsignor Fred Nijem will officiate. Mr. Ness was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Fred and Joyce Weller Ness. He was a WWII Navy veteran, attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a volunteer with the Adult Literacy Program. He was retired from Pabst Brewing Company. Survivors include his wife of 63 years Ann M. Ness of Warner Robins. Children: Robert Ness of Augusta, Edward Ness of Warner Robins, Mary Ann John Brooks of Roswell, Meg Huckeba Keith Shelton and Larry Jennifer Ness all of Marietta. Grandchildren: John Brooks, Kelly Brooks, Sean Huckeba, Kevin Ness and Lauren Ness. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund, 300 S. Davis Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088. A Rosary will be said at 6 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home followed by a time of visitation.
