Felipe R. Vigil Felipe went to be with the Lord on August 26, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Rose Vigil, sister Donna Vigil and nephew Dana Partee. He is survived by his wife DeAnna Vigil, stepson Michael Leyba (Valerie), sisters Rosina Couchman (Terry), Angela Salazar (Jim), Emily Hurtado, Marcella Catanach (Michael), grandchildren Michael, Manuel and Janaye, great grandchildren Santiago, Savannah, Brianna, Jonah and Josiah, nieces and nephews David Salazar, Tanya Wells (Brian), Jimmy Salazar (Izumi), Lee Anthony Wright (Nancy), Patricia Mares (Len), John Hurtado (Lisa), Melanie Neal (Josh), Aaron Catanach (Kelsey) and Brian Catanach. Felipe enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He and DeAnna enjoyed their fishing trips in many areas in New Mexico and Colorado. They also enjoyed getaways to Las Vegas, Nevada. Two days before his passing he was fishing in Cundiyo and visiting Vigil families and friends in northern New Mexico. Felipe was the owner of two businesses which led him to make many special friends and acquaintances. He was always available to help anyone especially his beloved family. He was very loving and special to all his nieces, nephews and grand kids who all thought the world of him. He always made them laugh and have a beautiful time around him. Felipe is going to be missed greatly by all those who knew him and loved him for his outgoing,fantastic personality and giving spirit.
