Denise M Copeland, 60, passed away November 17, 2022. A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Baptist Gospel Mission Church Cemetery at 3:00 PM with Pastor Mike Fisher officiating. A visitation will be held Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home from 1:30 PM until 2:15 PM. Denise was born on July 5, 1962 to the late Cecil Eugene Copeland and Effie Masters in Macon, GA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved son, Jeremy A. Cooks; and brothers: Christopher Copeland and Kenneth Masters. Denise had a love for animals and enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and friends. Denise was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and dear friend that will be truly missed. Denise is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Andres) Barahona; grandchildren: Damien Copeland, Kaitlyn Flores-Gonzalez (Edgar), and Rebekah Martinez; great grandchildren: Sophia Roberts and Adrian Flores-Gonzalez; siblings: Terri Stevens, Teresa Russell (Terry), Angie Parker (Wayne), Jay Copeland (Sarah), and Cecil Copeland Jr. (Regina); and a host of extended friends and family.
