William Robert Welch, 85, passed away on December 31, 2022. A graveside service honoring the life of Mr. Welch will be held at Parkway Memorial Gardens, January 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM. William was born on July 14, 1937 to the late Pearline Barnes and Bennie Welch in South Carolina. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy Sue Deaton Welch; son, Michael Welch; and several siblings. William was a loyal man who took great pride in serving his family. He would teach his family about dedication and accountability throughout their lives for them to continue to pass down for the generations to come. William enjoyed working and traveling, but most important, he enjoyed spending time with his family. William was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and dear friend who will be greatly missed. William is survived by his beloved children, Charles Welch (Theresa) and Wayne Welch (Sharon); grandchildren, Jennifer Welch (Ben), Steven Welch (Stephanie), and Josh Welch (Brittany); great grandchildren: Kierstin, Loralei, Christina, Sierra, Kylar, Ashton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
