Domingo Reyna Ruiz, 73, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, entered into eternal life on July 3, 2023, in his home, with his family by his side. He was born November 6, 1949, to Domingo Perez Ruiz and Anastacia Reyna in Juarez, Mexico. They moved to El Paso, Texas, and ended up in Bakersfield, California, where Domingo grew up. He then joined the Civil Service at the Air Force Academy, as the Supervisor of the Cadet Dining Hall at Mitchell Hall, where he worked for seventeen years, retiring after twenty-five total years of military and civil service. He then worked for four years as a D.O.C. correctional officer, and then he retired from the Pikes Peak Library District after working for ten years as a security officer as well. Finally, working as a Roving Supervisor for school district 11 and 49, to the age of 72. Domingo is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-one years, Dolores Patricia Ruiz; their three children, Domingo (Ruthann) Lujan Ruiz, Lorenzo (Tina) Lujan Ruiz, and Dorine Lujan Ruiz; twelve grandchildren, Micheal Jr., Angel, Nik, AJ, Johnny, Priscilla, Domingo N., Renee, Valencia, Jessica, Lorenzo Jr., and Desiray; six great-grandchildren; and nine brothers and sisters.
