August 30, 1958 - September 20, 2023 Abbott, Virginia "Ginny,65, of Treasure Island passed away September20, 2023 at her home suddenly. Born in Baltimore, MD and graduated from Thomas Jefferson HIgh School in Pittsburgh, PA. She then went on to serve proudly in the United States Air Force. She later helped her son Shea start the local family Flooring company, Abbott Flooring. She was preceded in death by her parents, William "Don" and Louise Eyerly. Ginny is survived by her son Shea (Sara): her pride and joy, granddaughter Kieley; sisters Donna Clagg and Sandy Vittitoe; her past husband Brian. Ginny was the best friend and mother anyone could ever ask for. She was never afraid of a good time and was not one to miss a party. She always enjoyed a good walk on the beach with her sister Donna and friends and loved to watch the Treasure Island sunsets. She was a Jazzercise instructor with her best friend Tammie Hasko for many years. She loved her dogs Snook, Abby, Amber, Wrigley and her granddogs Josie and Fin. She loved being a proud member of the Bay to Bay Foundation, helping local charities in need. She was the first person to help someone in need, always lending a hand or the shirt off her back. Her beautiful smile and life of the party will be remembered by all who knew her. Ginny's Party of Life will be Thursday, September 28th at the Lions Club on Treasure Island, Sunset Beach from 5:30 - 9:30 with a Sunset Celebration. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Bay to Bay Foundation at baytobaydonates.org.
