BLUFFTON, S.C. - Mrs. Jean Parrish, age 77, of Bluffton, S.C., formerly of Auburndale, passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 3, 2011 in Bluffton, S.C., due to heart failure. Mrs. Parrish was born in Cobbtown, GA, and was preceded in death by her husband Dick Parrish and her parents Andrew and Maude Moseley. She was a retired office manager for Dr. Hugh Reynolds of Auburndale and was a former member of First Freewill Baptist Church and Church of God in Auburndale and Thunderbolt Baptist Church in Savannah, GA. Mrs. Parrish enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and going shopping with her girls. She is survived by 3 daughters Linda Wilharm (Jim) of Savannah, GA, Donna Oakley (Gary) of Lakeland and Tish Sargent (Bill) of Bluffton, S.C.; 2 sons Richard Parrish (Diann) of Laramie, WY, and Brian Parrish (Renee) of Winter Haven; 20 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale with visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday. Memorials are asked to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, 119 Palmetto Way, P.O. Box 3827, Bluffton, S.C., 29910.
