DAVENPORT, FL - Irene Berube Isaacks, 88, formerly of Somerset, MA, died Monday, October 27, 2014 at her home in Davenport, FL. She was born March 6, 1926, in Fall River, MA to Philip and Alice (Charbonneau) Berube. Mrs. Isaacks was Catholic by faith and was the owner/operator of Top O' The Line Uniforms in Somerset, and also worked for the school district. She was known by her family for her love of cooking, dancing, music and penny slot machines, but by far her favorite activity was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; son Gaylon Isaacks, Jr.; and sister Cora McGrath. She is survived by her husband of nearly 70 years Gaylon Isaacks, Sr.; daughters Cheryl (John) Gouveia of Assonet, MA and Karen Isaacks of St. Cloud; grandchildren Scott and Christopher Desrosiers, Jeffrey Ferreira, Tammy Connearney and Jason Isaacks; and 5 great grandchildren. Services will be held in Florida.
