Mrs. Violet H. Spears, age 93, a resident of Winter Haven passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 at her residence due to natural causes. Mrs. Spears was born January 28, 1920 in Cook County, Tennessee to Herbert Lee and Mattie Zonie (Duke) Clemons. She was a Winter Haven resident since 2001 coming from California. Violet was a homemaker, a lifetime member of O.E.S. Chapter Queen Ester, she enjoyed knitting, fishing, camping, her dogs, Pixie & Heidi and she dearly loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Hollis and 2 brothers. Violet is survived by her loving & devoted family: 2 daughters: Vivian C. (Dr. Paul) Fogel of Sacramento, CA, Barbara J. (Gerald) Lesser of Chatsworth, CA, 3 granddaughters: Tina M. (Randy) Summerlin of Winter Haven, FL, Andrea Troncale of Belfair, WA, Heather B. Morrison of Redding, CA, adopted grandchildren: John R. Bader, Heather Lea DeBorba & Ethan J. Summerlin.
