David C. Knouff, 76, of Haines City, FL passed away on May 2, 2022 at AdventHealth Heart of Florida surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 20, 1945 in Canton, OH to David H. and Evelyn Geyer Knouff. David moved to Florida in 1999 from Louisville, OH and he worked as a drafting designer for 45 years. He retired in 2012 from the City of Winter Haven. He was a faithful Christian of the brothering faith. David was a family man, with a big heart who dearly loved his family. He enjoyed being at home and working on his computer as well as fixing computers. His favorite thing was his family and fur babies. He is preceded in death by his parents David and Evelyn; sons, Kurt and Matthew Knouff; and grandson, Kyle Starkey. David leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, of 55 years, Penelope L. Knouff; daughter, Holly Buchanan of Haines City, FL; sister, Catherine Grunder of East Canton, OH; three grandchildren, Amanda Buchanan, Alex Starkey and Kurt Starkey; and two fur babies. He will be missed by all.
