Mr. Josef Sattelberger passed away at his home on September 13, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 91.Josef was born October 12, 1927 in Budaors, Hungary. He worked as a welder for Audi automotive in Germany prior to moving to the United States in 1959. His beloved Hannelore Ullrich later joined him in the States and they married February 20, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois. Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing and caring for his home and garden. Josef is preceded in death by his parents, Josef and Anna (Laboranovits) Sattelberger.Josef is survived by his loving wife, Hannelore Sattelberger; sister, Maria Alt; niece, Angelica Alt; grand-nephew, Nicolas; brother-in-law, Wolfgang (Burgl) Ullrich and their daughter, Petra (Uli) Fischer, all of Germany; as well as cousins and friends in Hungary, Germany, Chicago, Wisconsin, Colorado, and throughout the USA and Canada.His friends and family will always remember him as a kind, gentle and cheerful man who was adored by all who knew him.Celebration of Life, 2:00PM, Thursday, September 26, 2019, The Springs Funeral Services-North, 6575 Oakwood Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80923.The family requests that No flowers be sent.
