Shaw, Verdie Naomi Gass, 91 of Ruskin, Fla passed away March 22, 2011. She was born in Browns Gap, Georgia May 20, 1919. She was married to the late Ben F. Shaw on October 31, 1942. She is survived by her daughter, Juanita Sehorne, son, Gene (Dottie) Shaw, her sister, Bertha Gass Robbs, six grandchildren, Ben (Becky) Sehorne, Debbie (Jeff) Widner, Lorrie Mullen, Bo Langford, Robert (Janice) Shaw, and Jeremy (Megan) Shaw, 13 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2011 at the Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, Fla Burial will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Tampa, Fla.
