Tod Gary Damkoehler

Tod Gary Damkoehler, age 64, passed away in his home January 8th, 2024. Tod was born July 23rd, 1959 in Gadsden, Alabama to Gary Damkoehler and Gail Damkoehler (deceased). Tod worked as a chef most his life, where he met his wife Lisa at the hotel in Columbia, Maryland. Tod enjoyed many things in his life, to name a few; Tod loved his fast cars (especially Audi’s), loved to travel the worldwith family and friends, enjoyed genuine conversations with good friends, and as of late enjoyed spending a lot of time with his grandkids. Tod struggled a lot in the past 18 years with battling cancer and the aftermath that took a toll on him physically and mentally, but he always put up a good front and was present while he was here with all of us. In Lieu of flowers please feel free to make a donation to any of these charities he enjoyed supporting, Alpha House of Pinellas County, Task Force Dagger Special Operations Foundation, and CASA. Tod leaves behind a wife Lisa, two sons Ryan and Kyle, two future daughters in laws, two grandsons, and many other close family members. Tod was predeceased by his mother and brother. Friends and others whose lives Tod touched are invited to A Life Tribute Funeral Care, 5601 Gulfport Blvd S, Gulfport, from 11am-1pm on Friday January 19th, to reminisce, grieve, support each other and of course have a good chat. Burial will be private. There will be a “Celebration of Life” at our home 6320 Pasadena pt. Blvd. s., starting at 6pm that evening.
