Loretta "Mickey" Markham West, 86, of Clearwater, Florida passed away August 30, 2020. She was born on March 25, 1934 in Elmira , New York to Raymond and Aileen(Lang) O'Neill. She attended Elmira Free Academy in Elmira New York. She then moved to Washington D.C. and worked for the Chesapeake Phone Company as a telephone operator. She married and moved to Brodhead, a small rural town in Southwestern Wisconsin where she raised her four children and worked as a Medical Assistant at Monroe Clinic in Wisconsin for 20 yrs. She was a member of the Wisconsin State Committee for the American Association of Medical assistants. Charter member, Treasurer of the local chapter of the Wisconsin Society of Medical Assistants. Served as President and Treasurer of the local American Legion Auxiliary and served as a Member of the Monroe,Wisconsin City Council from 1984 to 1990. She retired and relocated to Clearwater, Florida where she enjoyed the warm weather and playing Bridge with her friends.She was a member of the Harborside Christian Church. Mickey is survived by her four children, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Russel West, her parents and three brothers. She was the last surviving sibling in her family... All things must pass away...George Harrison
