Diane A. Erwin Diane A. Erwin, 78, passed away on August 13, 2021, at The Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, FL. She was born in Newark, NJ, on July 2, 1943, to Frank Sadowski and Anna Thomashauskas, grew up in the Lake Hopatcong neighborhood, graduated from Sparta High School and began her first job in the Orthopedic Ward at the Morristown Memorial Hospital. She worked for the hospital approximately 10 years and later accepted a new position as a Physician's Assistant where she spent another 15 years with an individual Doctor in Morristown, NJ. During this time, she met and married the love of her life, Donald Erwin, a local banker, on June 3, 1982. Don helped her do a career change from medicine into private banking where she became familiar with almost all the services banks provide to the public. When she retired in 1999, she had achieved an Assistant Branch Manager position. She and her husband Don moved to Florida in July of 2001. They recently celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary. Diane had many interests. While in New Jersey she enjoyed traveling to Europe on vacations and riding her horse (Chief) in The Black River Wildlife Reserve near Chester, NJ. She also liked gardening, raising orchids and all sorts of potted plants. Also, watching hummingbirds feed was one of her favorite pastimes. Diane also like doing crafts and she really loved shopping. Diane was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Donald, and her older brother Paul Sadowski, a resident of NJ. She will be buried next to her mother, Anna Thomashauskas, in The Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Chester, NJ.
