While raising children, she had an extensive modeling career, and was featured on the cover of Town and Country magazine. Her career, lasting decades, helped fuel her love of travel, and adventure. Barbara's travels took her all over the world from trekking with Gorillas in Rwanda to crossing the desert by Camel in Morocco, the more remote and exotic the better She and Dick were founding members of Coral Ridge Country Club in Ft. Lauderdale, where Barbara could often be seen enjoying her passion for tennis. Fully embracing life, Barbara's beautiful smile and quick wit will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is now in the arms of Her Lord and Savior and enjoying her first dance with Dick and a warm embrace with her son Chris and other loved ones. Hers was a life well lived. In addition to her children, Barbara was the proud grandmother of four, Lindsay Parsons, Ryan Hillstrom, Jamie and Walker Wood.
