Hammer, Tracy S., 57, of Largo, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017. Born in Clearwater, FL, on September 1, 1959 to Barbara A. Lindenmeyer and the late Gerald A. Lindenmeyer, she married Bob on April 8, 1989 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Largo, Florida. Tracy was a dedicated Sunday School Teacher for many years. Tracy was a proud "Golden Girl" in the Band of Gold, Largo, High School and later became the treasurer and strong supporter of her son's Warrior Pride Marching Band at OHS. She was a loyal Rays fan who would take in a game with her sister, Marcy. Tracy was a revered leader of her work team, she will be terribly missed there. Tracy enjoyed spending her free time with neighbors "under the tree." She and Bob also had a home in Georgia where she could often be found enjoying a cup of coffee and taking in the view from her own deck! She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, and most recently her loving husband, Bob. Tracy is survived by her sons, Travis Hammer, Robert E. Hammer, Jr; grandson, Zach Hammer; mother, Barbara A. Lindenmeyer; sister, Marcy (Ron) Streicher; her faithful companion, Bandit; extended family members. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, www.bcrfcure.org, in Tracy's memory.
