MOORE, Ron “Winterhawk” 71, of Land O’ Lakes passed away September 8, 2014. Ron was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and spent most of his adult life in Florida. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Bayonet Point North Congregation. Ron worked for Asplundh Tree Expert Service for twenty years and later opened Ron Moore & Sons Lawn Service. He was a hardworking family man who was an expert tree trimmer. Ron was a mischievous man who loved to laugh and make others around him laugh. Ron was an avid outdoorsman who embraced nature. He is preceded in death by his mother, Rena Moore. Ron is survived by his wife of forty four years, Jane Moore; children, Sherri Clark, Ron B. Moore, Cherokee Moore, Shawnee Kircher (Jim), Cheyenne Moore (Angie) and Seneca Moore; brother, Gary Moore; grandchildren, Christopher Young (Ashley), Ashley Steinke (Kevin), Marcus LaBonte, Hunter Moore, Malik Joemmankhan, Brennan Kircher, Drew Moore, Avelyn Mirza, Marlee Moore, Aidan Mirza and Angelia DeJesus; great grandchildren, Ryan Young and Cameron Steinke and members of the Powell family and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of cut flowers, Ron requested live plants or memorial contributions in his memory be made to Hernando/Pasco Hospice. “So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide. Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and grovel to none. When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself. Abuse no one and no thing, for abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its vision. When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.” ~ Chief Tecumseh
