Emma Susan Pella

PELLA, Emma Susan, 91 of Land O Lakes, Florida passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014. She was born in Buffalo, New York and moved to Orlando, Florida at the age of three. She has lived in Masaryktown, Florida, New Port Richey, Florida, and in 1993 moved to Land O’ Lakes, Florida with her daughter. Emma was a secretary and bookkeeper most of her life and after retirement volunteered with Little Lambs Preschool in Lutz, Florida serving on their Board of Directors. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lutz, Florida where she was active with the local, and district Lutheran Woman’s Missionary League (LWML), and in her younger years sang in the church choir and played hand bells at her church. Up until a year ago she still surprised the children as “SPARKLES” the clown. Emma enjoyed going on cruises, going almost every year with family and/or friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew “Buck,” son, Andy, and grandson, Michael Kumley. Emma is survived by her three daughters, Suzie Miller, Marsha Pella, and Ann Julia Pella; sister, Mary Ann Crawford; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Holy Lutheran Church, 20735 Leonard Rd, Lutz, Florida. Interment will follow at Masaryktown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Friday evening at Loyless Funeral Home.
