Groover, Wallace Aaron, 84, passed away April 6, 2013. Born May 5, 1928 in Glenville, GA he moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1952 where he lived for the remainder of his life. He is survived by his wife, Sandra T. Groover, and children Diann Dandois (Bob Alvin); Barbara Groover (Frank Duffy) and Gregory Groover; his stepchildren Michael Taylor; Toni Haldeman (Jim); Kelli Gerrity (Robert); David Taylor; 8 grandchildren and many other loving family members. He retired from McCrory's retail chain after a long career as Store Manager, District Manager and Regional District Manager. He was a 60 year member of First Baptist Church. He happily spent his retirement years traveling, serving on his condo association board as treasurer for 17 years and picking fruit to donate to the church and community. The twinkle in his eyes and kind, loving spirit will be missed by all. A Memorial service will be held at 10 am Friday, April 12 at First Baptist Church, 1900 Gandy Boulevard, St. Petersburg, Fl. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation
