Born in Flint, MI, she moved to St. Petersburg in 1988 from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She served as a WAC during WWII and was a homemaker. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Kay, St. Petersburg; a sister, Mary Lou Casselman, Clio, MI; a brother, Norman Carlson, Flint, MI; seven granddaughters: Kelly Fisher, Harrisburg, NC; Kathleen Polk, Orlando, FL; Kimberly Callahan, Los Angeles, CA; Athena Walker, San Francisco, CA; Stephanie Bolanes, Seattle, WA; Elizabeth and Victoria Bolanes, both of Tupelo, MS; two great-granddaughters: Hayley and Alix Polk, Orlando, FL.
