Ken passed away peacefully on Monday morning February 27, 2023 at the age of 90 in Tualatin, OR of natural causes. He was born in Grand Junction, CO to Gilbert and Margarite Sternes. Moved to Oregon when he was a child and attended Tigard High School where he met his former wife and mother of his Children Wreatha Conrad (preceded in death). He joined the Air Force with his best friend Bill Conrad in August 1952. He served 4yrs active duty and 4yrs reserve. He attended Portland State College and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1962 and then proceeded to Oregon State University to earn his Master's of Science in 1967. He was an Electrical Engineer and worked for Tektronix.
