LeRoy Hare, Jr.

LeRoy Hare, Jr. passed away on August 14, 2021 at the age of 52. LeRoy was born at Good Samaritan Hospital in WPB to the parents of the late LeRoy Hare, Sr and Sandra Peacock Hare. He was raised in Clewiston, FL and graduated from Clewiston High School in 1986. He was married to Anjelica Hare. He was the proud father of LeLani Hare, now a senior @ Clewiston High School. LeRoy Hare was an owner of Hare Lumber and Ready Mix in Clewiston. He dearly loved his wife, Anjelica, enjoyed taking care of his home, and was an excellent cook. Whenever possible, he loved to swim in the ocean. LeRoy had a wonderful sense of humor, was quick-witted, and had a very generous nature. He is survived by his wife, Anjelica Hare, his daughter, LeLani Hare, his mother, Sandra Peacock Hare, all of Clewiston; and his sister, Jennifer Potter Hoban of Mt Dora. He will be dearly missed. The funeral will be held Thursday, September 9th @ Akins-Davis Funeral Home. The viewing will be at 2 pm and the memorial service will start @ 3pm. Entombment @ 3:45pm Ridgelawn Cemetery. A reception will be held @ St Martin's Church Episcopal Parish Hall immediately following.
