Anne Brevig Mathisen passed away October 9, 2017 in Oakville, Washington. She was born November 27, 1946 to John E. and Helen (Phillips) Brevig in Shelton, Washington. Anne graduated from Irene S. Reed High School and attended Western Washington University. She was self-employed in the publishing industry and raised Arabian horses. She loved riding, photography and spending time with friends and family. If she wasn’t doing any of those things, you might find her on her John Deere Tractor, tending the place she and her life partner Tom built and shared. Anne is survived by her life partner, Tom Russell; her daughter, Tiffany Mathisen (Dave) VanSkike; grandchildren, Henry and Ava of Seattle, Washington; sister, Connie (Dave) Bein of Olympia; and nieces, Erika Roberts, Krista Wagner and Christine Bein. She was predeceased by her parents; her son, Jon Mathisen; and brother, Gary Brevig. Please leave memories of Anne or condolences for her family in the Guestbook below.
