Claudette May passed away September 25, 2017 in Renton, Washington. She was born May 26, 1937 to Jack and May Krause in Olympia, Washington. A 1978 graduate of West Seattle High, Claudette married Larry J. Hagg on August 11, 1954 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Claudette was strong, independent and often stubborn, as well as being very gracious and caring. She was able to retire in her paradise at Mason Lake, where she could be with all of the club members. She was always helping others by cooking meals and treats, watching her friends’ pets and homes while they were away, and donating her time and skills to her church. She was very proud of the fact she went back to West Seattle High School to graduate with her son in 1978. She traveled the world all the way up to a few weeks before her death. She is survived by former husband, Larry Hagg; daughters, Lenice (Robert) Kellams and Beth (Spencer) McMahan; sons, R. Douglas (Shirley) Hagg, E. Scott (Cyndi) Hagg, and R. Lance (Terry) Hagg; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother, James Krause; sisters, Connie (Jay) Kapsandy and Cathy (David) Nichols; and close companion, Jim McElroy. She was predeceased by grandson, Jason Hagg; granddaughter, Shylah Hagg; and brother, Jack Krause. Please leave memories of Claudette or condolences for her family in the Guestbook below.
