Maureen was born on Christmas day 1923 in Garrybawn, Castle Blarney, County Monahan in the free state of Southern Ireland, and peacefully passed on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the age of 85 years old. Her husband Andrew, of 43 years, preceded her in death in 1993, and one infant daughter Lit'l Mo. Maureen is survived by her three children, A.J. (Vickie), Chuck and Dan McGranaghan, grandchildren Brennan (Courtney), Jennifer, Sean (Nikki), & Jeremy, and two great grandchildren, along with numerous sisters and brothers in New England, Europe and Australia. Maureen has been a member of St. Frances Cabrini parish for over forty years. Our deep appreciation to all the caregivers within the "special memory care unit" of Patriots Landing, who provided Maureen with the personal touch and quality care. A vigil, Rosary service will be held Thursday evening 22 October at 7:00 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Frances Cabrini.
