James W. Stroh, 79, born August 5, 1941 passed away on May 26, 2023 at his home in Lakewood, WA. Jim is survived by Margaret Stroh, his wife of 52 years, his two sons Gerald and Tyson (Heather) Stroh and their children Liam and Fiona. He has two sisters Gerry Ann (Portland, OR) and Judy (Bill) Farley (Spokane, WA). Jim was a proud retired Air Force veteran, both active and reservist at McChord Air Force Base in Lakewood, WA. He also owned his own business called Ultratech. In his spare time he loved to hunt Moose in Canada. He had his private pilot's license and loved to fly. He also enjoyed salmon fishing. He took great joy helping others with projects. His family was his greatest joy. He will be missed by many who knew him. There will be a Celebration of Jim's life at The United Methodist Church on June 24, 2023 at 1:00PM at 6900 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA, reception following. Please give a donation to your favorite charity in Jim's name instead of flowers.
