RUTH HINEMAN TILLIS, 82, of Englewood, Florida passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015 at Englewood Community Hospital. Born on September 27, 1932 in Crown City, Ohio she had been a resident of Charlotte County for nearly twenty years coming from Frankfort, OH. Ruth was the youngest daughter of Ethel and Russell Hineman. She graduated Fairland High School and Martz Beauty School. She was a retired cosmetologist. Survivors include her high school sweetheart and loving husband of sixty-three years: Gene Tillis; four children: Nancy Jean (Greg) Armstrong of Edgewood, KY; Patrice (Chuck) Miller of Maricopa, AZ; Dwight Tillis of Pataskala, OH; Chris Tillis of Englewood, FL; four grandchildren: Jill Armstrong of Columbus, OH, David Armstrong of Florence, KY; Catherine Tillis and Grant Tillis both of Pataskala, OH. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by two sisters, Helen Bragg and Delma Edwards. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no service.
