James R. "Jim" McCullough, 91, of Englewood, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Englewood Community Hospital. Born on June 9, 1927 in Corry, Pennsylvania to the late James and Albertine Chaffee McCullough he had been a resident of Charlotte County for thirty-four years coming from Rochester, New York. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. An electrical engineer for Rochester Telephone Company, he retired in 1982 after twenty years. He is pre-deceased by his wife of fifty-eight years, Mary "Molly" McCullough in 2011. Survivors include his five children: Carol, Cathy, Daniel, Susan and David; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Service and inurnment will be in Shortsville, New York at a later date. Special thanks to all the care providers at Englewood Community Hospital and Tide Well Hospice. Englewood Community Funeral Home with Private Crematory has been selected to handle arrangements.
