Summer D. Smith Surfside Beach- Summer D. Smith, age 32, died on Friday, February 2, 2018. Born in Myrtle Beach, SC, she was a daughter of the late Anthony David Smith and Elizabeth Diana Smith. She was also preceded in death by her great uncle, George Hawkins. Summer enjoyed the beach and spending time with family. She was a "social butterfly" and never met a stranger. Survivors include her daughters Nevaeha Danielle Smith and Dionna Mae Holmes, and a sister Rachel Diana Smith; her aunt and uncle, Frances and Charles Hunley; a great aunt, Marie Hawkins. A memorial service was conducted on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Smith family.
